28th Week:

It was 17 year old Keith Lee’s trial at the juvenile court today. All was sedate when the judge spoke of Keith’s penalties. He began to think back and regretted on his reckless act of theft. He had an avarice and was materialistic. Despite his parents giving him the best, he was insatiable, he then turned to becoming a thief one fateful day. Though everyone around persuaded him out of it and were disgruntled by his act of dishonesty, he committed theft over and over again, till he ended up in court. The judge gave him a jail sentence of six months and Keith’s mother who witnessed the trial almost broke down, she was really disappointed in her most beloved son. However, all was calmed when Mrs Lee managed to gain equanimity. Keith promised his mother to turn over a new leaf and never to let her or his father down once more.

27th Week:

Retrospect on what took place decades ago, when I was still an ardent young man, I felt proud of myself. Definitely, the country was proud of me too. I remembered that exultation which overwhelmed me when I culminated of the world’s highest mountain – Mt. Everest. After all these years of training, my efforts paid off. It really felt great to be at its pinnacle and to achieve what I had always wanted to. Upon realizing my dream, I captured that moment of satisfaction and told myself not to wipe this out of my mind ever. I want to remind myself that truly, practice makes perfect and with determination, impossible is nothing.
