18th Week:

Ex-convicts are deemed bad by all of us and we seldom do give them a second chance. Many of times, they commit their mistakes spontaneously and are not in a clear state of mind. Perhaps, they crave for the forgiveness from all of us and hope that we would treat them with equality. We may have to accommodate in some ways so as to accept them into our society, but it is all it takes to let them have a sense of belonging, it is this simple! I believe if everyone puts in an effort to modify the way we feel about them and give them a second chance, this world will be a more warmth place to be in!

17th Week:

Lynn was on her way back home from school this fateful afternoon and as usual, the neighbourhood was peaceful and tranquil. Then, a suspicious-looking man approached Lynn and told her he needed help with his goods at the murky and isolated alley nearby. Being a gullible teenager, Lynn believed him and followed him to the alley. The man knew from that moment that his hoax to rob Lynn was going to be a success and smiled stealthily. He started to talk to Lynn and told her fallacious things on why he was there. Being too naive, Lynn did not suspect a thing at all, even when she arrived at the alley. The man took out a penknife and pointed it at Lynn. This was when she realised she was tricked, but it was too late, she could not retaliate at all and had to surrender all her valuables. She was lucky nothing else happened to her, though. Through this, she learnt that she must not perpetrate the same mistake of believing others so easily again.
